I purchased this precision cut by Barry Bridgestock Nigerian green tourmaline loose from another PSer and then had it set in the Ivy & Rose setting with 0.10ctw in diamonds. The stone measures approximately 7.25mm (no carat weight was given to me by the original seller), the setting is 14k white gold and the ring is size 8.5 (sizeable). My pictures were taken in natural lighting. I haven’t been wearing my rings very often, so it has only been gently worn a few times. Mothers day sale!!!1893 Victorian Garnet Heart Ring $680USD now 560! Rosy 9K gold and a glowing beautifully faceted heart shaped garnet. Original hallmarks for Birmingham, England and 1893 - 1894 The garnet has a rich deep pinky red color and measures approximately 8.4 x 7.8 mm within its open backed bezel setting. There is superficial wear to the top and underside of the gem mostly seen with magnification. The bezel also shows some expected wear, though it's still holding the garnet securely. The culet of the garnet protrudes from the back of the bezel; measuring from the culet to the table of the garnet, the rise is approximately 4.25 mm. Band is 2.23 mm wide. Inside, the hallmarks read: "RP" is the worn maker's mark, "9" and "375" are the marks indicating the pureness of the gold, the sideways anchor is for the Birmingham assay office, and the "t" is the date mark for 1893 - 1894. The center is a 0.23ct brazilian paraiba tourmaline, surrounded by a halo of natural pink sapphires and G/VS natural diamonds in 18K white/rose gold. I love everything about this ring, but unfortunately I just don't reach for it as much as my other ones. It deserves to be worn! It is like new, size 4.5, easily resizable. These are three gorgeous Pink Spinels which I had David Klass set in this antique 18kt Yellow Gold ring -- ring size 10.25 (I wore it on my index finger) but easily resized up or down. The ring weighs 15.5 grams and slides on smooth as butter and very comfortable to wear. Please know in some lights the Yellow Gold has an almost Rose Gold look due to the passage of time. The cushion-cut Pink Spinels are from Luc Yen, Vietnam, and possess that rare intense orangey-pink coloration -- the largest stone is 1.02ct (6.37 x 4.93 x 4.22mm) -- and the smaller two stones are 0.71ct (4.94 x 4.76 x 3.99mm) and 0.65ct (4.72 x 4.66 x 3.88mm) -- the Spinels look great in all lighting and especially pop in the sun and diffused daylight -- represented as from Khanh Hoa, Luc Yen, Vietnam -- eyeclean or better -- never set. Mother's day Sale! $1200 1770 to 1780 Georgian natural, unheated ruby ring with silver top and rose cut diamonds. I bought this from my friend @ladycessalove who is an expert on Georgian jewelry. I have been it's caretaker for several months and have kept it in amazing condition. The first four pics are mine and the last few are hers. This is what Allison had to say about this beauty: The deeply chased band is my favorite part of this ring and this type of chasing is indicative of the late 18th century, as well as the portrait style bezel. A lot of cameos in the 1770s/80s have this style of bezel.The ruby is 4.6 mm x 6.7 mm. There is minor discoloration at the bottom of the stone from the foiling having slightly deteriorated from age and moisture. That is very common with antique foiled Georgian pieces. I don’t think it detracts, though, from the overall vibrancy of the pinkish ruby.
