Precision cut, chubby oval 3.2 ct coveted Loliondo (Tanzanian) type and color (Sunkist Orange). 9.53x7.83x3.18 Possesses the tiny typical sugar-like inclusions which give it the telltale glow, but eye clean. Under loupe and up close, one small inclusion near end of table which looks like a translucent zircon “snowflake” - again, typical for Loliondo. 2.14 carat strongly saturated red Burmese Spinel with GIA lab report. Medium dark red. Always think of this as a flame spinel, but in sun, the fluorescence makes it have some of the classic lit from within pinkish/bluish cast. It has a simple cut with a deep bottom and extinction. This stone would benefit from a precision recut, which I bet would make it brighter and sparklier. Second and third pics show fluoro. Last pic shows extinction. A great value for the price.
