Beautiful, dark and rich, this umbalite garnet would look great paired in a 3 stone ring with white diamonds on 18k yellow gold. My opinion aside this stone is dark, from my personal collection weighing at 5.98 carats. Gems can be hard to photograph, but I'd say this is a mix of purple and cranberry.
